Whilst this may be daunting for employers, flexible working can provide a more loyal, motivated and reactive workforce.

Employers need to seriously consider any request for flexible working, and processes need to be followed, but requests should be seen as an opportunity to review current working practices and improve productivity, rather than as a threat.
